The mission of the Town Center Community Alliance is to improve the environment and enhance the quality of life in the Town Center area through public greenspace and trail projects, community education, programming and district beautification.
Town Center Community Alliance
In 2015, the Town Center Community Improvement District created the Town Center Community Alliance to look beyond infrastructure to create a “heart and soul” for the district by engaging partners to support greenspace and beautification projects in the district. The Alliance is also enhancing quality of life for residents and visitors through education, programs and services, such as the Town Center Zagster Bike Share program.
The Alliance, as its own nonprofit entity, can benefit from a more diverse range of contributions and leverage the TCCID’s early investment in the Noonday Creek Trail, Aviation Park and Bells Ferry Trailhead.
The Alliance’s focus is on large scope, place-making initiatives identified in the Town Center Master Plan, such as Town Center Park and the seven-mile Town Center Trail Loop system.
The Alliance may accept tax-deductible donations from anyone in or outside the district, and may be used in beneficial projects in or outside the TCCID’s 6.25-mile boundary area.

Zagster Town Center Bike Share Program
The first CID-sponsored bike share program in the state, the Zagster Bike Share program allows you to rent a bike to run errands, get exercise, or enjoy outdoor recreation on the District’s scenic trails. The first hour of rides is always free and riders can easily access and rent bikes using the Zagster app. The vision of this program is to utilize additional bike stations to connect Cobb trails through the Cobb Greenway Project and eventually to trails in Cherokee and Fulton, including the Atlanta BeltLine.
Aviation Park
Aviation Park is a $2.7 million, three-acre, aviation-themed park located at Barrett Lakes Boulevard and Cobb Place Boulevard, adjacent to the Cobb International Airport runway and approximately midpoint along the Noonday Creek Trail. The park features an aviation-themed playground with STEM technology, educational and artistic elements celebrating Cobb County’s rich history in aviation, viewing areas for airplane take offs and landings, and an expanded Zagster station with ten bikes that is easily accessible for park and trail visitors.
Bells Ferry Trailhead
The Bells Ferry Trailhead is located at 2995 Bells Ferry Road and is an ideal launch point to start exploring the scenic seven-mile Noonday Creek Trail. Initial construction and improvements feature a 50-space parking lot, restroom facility with a drinking fountain, bench seating, trash receptacles, parking lot lighting and a Zagster Bike rental station.
Town Center Park
Town Center Park is a 42-plus acre site located within the TCCID and adjacent to the Town Center Mall. Building upon the current natural forest area, water feature and Noonday Creek Trail, this expansive greenspace will provide distinct park amenities for residents, students, employees and visitors alike.
Support the Alliance
The Alliance supports the greenspace and trail projects in the Town Center Area such as Noonday Creek Trail, Aviation Park and Bells Ferry Trailhead, and the Zagster bike share program. Your gift will help to maintain and expand these amenities for years to come as well as help to develop future green space projects. Together we can create the “heart and soul” of the District and firmly position Town Center as one of the most desirable communities in metro Atlanta.
